Owner Maurice Santucci and head chef Travis Humphery boast CVs listing Australia's finest Italian eateries including café a taglio, The Grand (Richmond), Termini and Il Bacaro - where Humphery was last based before taking on this role at Sosta Cucina.
 
Santucci and Humphery share Northern Italian heritage as well as a passion for "good, unpretentious European food" which is reflected through a menu that, like the design of the restaurant, is elegant yet informal.

We have re-opened and all excited about 2010. Now of course a new year brings a new summer a la carte menu, but this year we have an additional offering simply called 'Cucina Povera'. This menu changes weekly and is available everyday for lunch or an early dinner starting at $25 for two courses!
