Owner Maurice Santucci and newly appointed head chef Aaron Read boast CVs listing Australia's finest establishments including Florentino, The Latin, Otto, Stokehouse and The Grand Dining Room Richmond, where Maurice and Aaron last danced in the kitchen together.

Read is no stranger to the Sosta philosophy, having worked as its Sous Chef since opening the doors in 2007. So when the opportunity arose, it seemed like the logical move for Read to take the reins in the kitchen.

Read shares Santucci's passion for good unpretentious European food, which is reflected through a menu that, like the design of the restaurant is elegant yet informal.
