Cucina, a welcoming space delivering fine Northern Italian cuisine with
warm and familiar service.
Since opening its doors in May 2007, Sosta Cucina has consistently
impressed and excited Melbourne's food community with a traditional
meets contemporary Northern Italian inspired menu.
Owner, Maurice Santucci and Head Chef Travis Humphery have successfully
combined over 30 years of experience with their Northern Italian
heritage and mutual passion for "good, unpretentious Italian food" to
produce a dynamic menu that like Sosta itself, is elegant yet informal.
Sosta Cucina's menu is constantly evolving; incorporating the best
seasonal produce as well showcasing fantastic Italian products. On offer
is a selection of daily additional dishes depending on what is sourced
at the market! Sosta prides itself on a great selection of fine Italian
wines as well as offering a broad selection from Australia's most
renowned wine regions.
Sosta Cucina offers a two or three course lunch and early dinner menu
called 'Cucina Povera'. It's great value
at $25 for two courses and $32 for 3 courses and available Tuesday to
Sunday. The 'Cucina Povera' menu changes weekly according to season
and availability.
Sosta Cucina can cater for bookings both large and small. With two
private dining rooms, we can cater for groups of 20 - 30, as well as
offer restaurant exclusivity for up to 55 people. From corporate

We have re-opened and all excited about 2010. Now of course a new year brings a new summer a la carte menu, but this year we have an additional offering simply called 'Cucina Povera'. This menu changes weekly and is available everyday for lunch or an early dinner starting at $25 for two courses!
