Brunello di Montalcino Dinner Wednesday 29th April 2015

Brunello di Montalcino is Italy’s finest expression of Sangiovese and, along with Barolo, its most famous wine.  The hillside town of Montalcino in southern Tuscany experienced a superb vintage in 2010 and these wines are just coming on to the market now. “The 2010 vintage is a new benchmark for Tuscany’s icon wine, producing reds with wonderful intensity, structure, and energy. I find the depth of fruit, flavour and savoury, almost mineral undertone of the wines spellbinding.” James Suckling
